The Shadow Chancellor, George Osborne M.P., visited Fleetwood recently and stopped off at the fish processors.
Mr Osborne, who was in Fleetwood with Eric Ollerenshaw, saw the plans for a new fish park and heard first hand the problems of this vital industry and the potential for expansion.

Figures obtained by the Conservatives reveal fishermen are forced to throw away millions of tonnes of dead fish back in the sea every year.
