Lancashire with Lancaster and Fleetwood highlighted.

Lancaster and Fleetwood is a new Parliamentary constituency, which will come in to existence at the next General Election.

Following a review of Lancashire by the Boundary Commission for England, a decision was taken to create a new seat in Lancashire.

A major reorganisation of central and southern Lancashire followed, which lead to the creation of Lancaster and Fleetwood.

Reorganisation

The existing constituencies of Lancaster and Wyre and Blackpool North and Fleetwood were then split to create Wyre and Preston North and Blackpool North and Cleveleys.

Lancaster and Fleetwood were subsequently joined up and the new constituency contains the following electoral wards sourced from the City of Lancaster and the Borough of Wyre:

  • Lancaster: Bulk, Castle, Duke’s, Ellel, John O’ Gaunt, Lower Lune Valley, Scotforth East, Scotforth West and University.
  • Wyre: Mount, Park, Pharos, Pilling, Preesall, Rossall, Warren and Wyresdale.

Ben Wallace MP, the current Member of Parliament for Lancaster and Wyre, will stand for election in Wyre and Preston North.  Find out more about Ben on his Parliamentary website.

Eric Ollerenshaw OBE is your Prospective Conservative Candidate for Lancaster and Fleetwood.  Find out more about Eric.
